How to plan the route

1. Enter a real starting point. Use your base, another address or your browser’s current location. Choose where you want to finish, then add each job’s full street address so Google Maps can distinguish similar suburb names.

2. Choose the order that fits the day. Use the efficient route to reduce driving, closest-first for nearby work, or farthest-first when you want to start with the most distant stop and work back.

3. Use realistic job durations. Include setup, cleanup and the customer conversation. The run sheet combines those durations with the travel estimate.

4. Replan when the day changes. After completing a job, recalculate the remaining stops from your current position. Each successful recalculation uses one of the account’s ten free calculations.

5. Check the route before driving. Open each leg in Google Maps for current navigation. Traffic, parking, access and road conditions can still change the actual arrival time.
